I was invited to attend a lovely dinner at the [risd] president’s house this evening, and got the chance to meet some extremely interesting and intelligent people. we chatted a lot about how industries like health care and medicine can really tap into and take advantage of the kind of thinkers and makers that schools like risd produce. hopefully it will be the start of some strong ties between risd and the scientific world!
on a side note, check out these blingin’ napkins they had there. cool, huh? (albeit somewhat unnecessary .. but pretty!)
