isn’t it gorgeous? I love how the tips are very slightly orange. seems like spring is trying to make its way into our lives .. although when I look out the window, I must say I’m not very convinced.
this beautiful bloom was gifted to me this evening at the providence children’s museum’s annual board meeting. I’ve been working there as a work-study student since my freshman year! so now that a bunch of us seniors are graduating, they gave us each pcm tote bags and a gerbera daisy each :)
it’s strange to think that I’ve been working there for so long. it is such a pleasant environment to be in, and I must say that even though I’ve seen quite a few impressive children’s museums this has to be one of my favorite. the museum’s goal is to promote learning through play and that’s exactly what it does. I even brought my boyfriend there and we quickly learned that one hour of play in the museum is simply not enough! the people who work there are the friendliest, and everyone is so darn devoted to fun and play and learning. love it.
I’m going to miss it so much when I leave! I only have two more weeks there ..
