probably one of my favorite people I’ve met while working at the providence children’s museum is my friend carole ann penney. we’ve known each other for quite a while now; when I first started at pcm, she was a senior at brown university who was also working there. she’s an amazing artist (check out some of my current favorites below) and it’s been such a privilege to see her evolve and grow over these past couple years.

I’m so jealous of her because she absolutely loves making. not to say that I don’t .. but you know how it goes when you’re in art school .. the making and the homework assignments get all rolled up into one thing in your head and sometimes it’s hard to separate them. anyway, I admire her so much because not only does she make the most amazing sewn crafts (among other things as well!) out of the cutest fabrics, but she works so hard to set goals for herself and accomplish them. it’s so self-driven and that to me is just down right phenomenal.
check out her craft business/blog: connect the dots and her flickr, where lots of new wonderful photos are constantly being posted!
